Genre Shift: Magazine Task

Due to a lack of workable materials I have switched my Genre of music for my magazine from techno/house music to Indie Rock music instead.

Photoshop: Before and After

Here we have a picture I intend to use for my magazine, however it looks too unprofessional as the lighting is too bright and there is visible rubbish present on the ground which we would not see in a professional photoshoot.
I opened the picture in photoshop and will now adjust the contrast and brightness to produce a better looking image, to make the red and white colours in particular to stand out less starkly from each other.
After doing this I used the spot healing tool to remove the rubbish from the grass around the players.

Above we can see that while the picture remains largely the same the minute changes do a lot to make it look closer to professional quality.

Photo List (Incomplete)

Photo analysis

The above is one of the pictures which I will definitel be using for me preliminary task of a school newsletter; the photo shows an active and sporty atmosphere for the school and captures the school field quite nicely along with it.
The photo may require slight alterations in photoshop due to the slight glare coming from the foremost players shirt on the white areas, so photoshop may be applied to make this less of a flare.

Above is an example of a picture I will not be using as the angle is bad and does not show either the Ipad screen of James' face and so does not give a good representation of the scene at hand compared to the other images of the same set up, errors which cannot be corrected through photo manipulation.
